6:00   AM        Depart from Walmart, North Salisbury Blvd., Salisbury, MD.
6:45   AM        Depart from Walmart Rt. 50, Cambridge, MD
7:15  AM       Depart from Kohl’s, Easton Bypass Rt. 322 Easton, MD.
                         Note: Stops will be made en route for breaks and meals on your own.
4:30   PM         Arrive in Florence, SC, at the “WINGATE  INN” for check in.
                         When we arrive at the hotel, you will able to go on your own right next to
                          the hotel to eat dinner at Cracker Barrel or Shoney’s.

                                    Wednesday, September 26, 2012
  6:30   AM        Begin the day with a continental breakfast at your hotel.
  7:00   AM        Luggage pick-up. (Please set your luggage outside your hotel door
                           before going to breakfast).
  8:00   AM        We’ll board the motor coach and depart for SAVANNAH, GA.                                                         11:00   AM        We will arrive in Savannah, GA, and pick up our step-on-guide & permit
                           at the Visitors Center. We will also get lunch (on your own) at City
                           Market in Savannah.                          
 1: 00   PM         We will begin our Historic Savannah Tour. Enjoy this “windshield” 
                           driving tour of Savannah from the comfort of the motor coach-an                                                                                                                                                                                               
                           excursion into one of the largest restored National Historic Landmark
                           Districts in the nation. Highlights of this include the 2.2 square miles of
                           the Historic District’s rich history with its restored 18th and 19th century
                           buildings and the waterfront where cotton warehouses are now hotels,
                           restaurants and shops. The city eloquently displays exquisite ironwork,
                           ancient cobblestones, splendid mansions, historic churches and
                           picturesque cottages nestled among unique park-like squares. If
                           available, you will visit one of the Savannah’s beautiful churches.
4:00      PM        We will then check in at the Holiday Inn Express-Savannah North.
5:30      PM        We will then depart hotel for cruise boarding.                         
7:00      PM        RIVER STREET RIVERBOAT COMPANY DINNER CRUISE.
                           Sit back and relax as the riverboat slowly takes you down the Savannah
                           River. Enjoy a gourmet buffet dinner with something to satisfy
                           everyone’s taste buds! After dinner, snap your fingers, tap your feet or
                           get up and dance to the tunes from the 50’s through today performed by
                           one of their own riverboat entertainers. Feel free to venture to our third
                           deck and enjoy the calm Savannah evenings with amazing sights and
                           sounds of our historic city, founded in 1733.
 9:00      PM       The cruise will end and we will return to the hotel.

   8:00     AM     Begin your day with  breakfast at the hotel.
   9:00     AM     Our LOW COUNTRY TOUR extends the history of Savannah and
                           shows how the city grew into the Victorian District with its gingerbread
                           architecture to Ardsley Park- the first surburban neighborhood of parks  
                           and fashionable residences designed in a variety of European styles. We
                           will meander down Victory Drive- Savannah’s famous mansion-lined
                           avenue of palm trees and azaleas planted for soldiers killed in WWII,
                           and possibly take a peek at Savannah’s own “Extreme Home Makeover
                           featured on national television. This tour wouldn’t be complete without a
                           stop at Byrd Cookie Company- a part of Savannah history since 1924
                           and a favorite stop for visitors featuring the “benne wafer”, eclectic
                           gourmet pantry items and gifts, and samples of their famous cookies.                 
12:00      PM      You can find lunch (on your own) on River Street.                          
  2:00      PM      Did you like the movie Forrest Gump? Would you like to find out about
                           “Buster the coal saving dog”? If you answered yes to either of these
                            questions, then the Savannah History Museum is the place for you!
                            The Savannah History Museum showcases the city’s history from its
                            founding in 1733 to the present day, and has everything from an
                            interactive component about Native American cultures to a 1902
                            Crestmobile, a car that pre-dates the Ford Model A. Visitors can learn
                            about the Revolutionary War in Savannah or see Johnny Mercer’s Oscar
                            and Grammy awards. You can test your wits in a fast-paced trivia quiz.
                            Complete your visit by relaxing in their Sketch Studio and “drawing”
                            inspiration from the Pulaski Monument.
     3:30     PM     Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace Tour- where the Girl Scouts began.       
     5:00     PM     Enjoy a Mint Julep or non-alcoholic punch at the Gingerbread House.
                            This house is considered one of the most outstanding examples of
                             Steamboat Gothic gingerbread carpentry in the United Sates. The
                            Gingerbread House was built in1899 and has been featured in numerous
                             magazines, books and movies. It is Savannah’s most photographed
                             home! Your visit this evening includes a tour of this private home.
      6:00     PM     It is now time for DINNER at Mrs. Wilkes’ Dining Room-a Savannah
                             institution! Enjoy all your Southern favorites.                          
      7:15     PM     Depart for the theatre.
      8:00     PM     Welcome to the Savannah Theatre. Having opened its doors on
                              December 4, 1818, this historic theatre is the oldest one of its kind
                              still operating on the original site in the U.S. Over the past two
                              centuries, the theatre has undergone several face-lifts as a result of
                              damaging fires. Today, the theatre is restored in the classic 1940’s Art
                              Deco style. The Beat Goes On includes the greatest hit songs from the
                              60’s, 70’s and 80’s. For you folks that have gone to American Music
                              Theatre in Lancaster, PA, you might remember Charlie who was their
                              orchestra conductor and director of their shows for years until he
                              moved to Savannah. You are in for a treat!!!!!
     10:15      PM    Show ends and now we return back to the hotel.    Good Night!

  7:00      AM        Begin the day with a breakfast at the hotel. Luggage out for pick up.
  9:00      AM        Step back in time with a uniformed soldier from the Civil War and
                              learn about Old Fort Jackson’s remarkable history as one of America’s
                              most important coastal defenses. After your tour, the program is
                              culminated with a dramatic and impressive 12-pounder Field Cannon
                              Firing demonstration! Feel free to explore the Fort’s casemate
                              museum and theater open for your enjoyment.
10:00      AM        Depart for Tybee Island tour. Enjoy the beautiful view of salt water
                              marshes from the comfort of the bus as we travel to Savannah’s beach           
                              at Tybee Island. Situated on the Atlantic Ocean, experience the feel of
                              a quaint 1950’s beach community, during this “windshield driving
                              tour”, where you will catch sight of Georgia’s oldest and tallest active
                              lighthouse.                              
12:30     PM          Buffet lunch (included in the tour) featuring a host of authentic
                              farmhouse southern classics at the LADY AND SONS
                              RESTAURANT. This is the famous  Paula Deen’s Restaurant.
  2:00     PM          Depart for Santee, South Carolina.
  4:00     PM          Arrive in Santee, SC, at the Hampton Inn to check in. You will have
                              time to rest before we go to dinner.
  6:00     PM          Arrive at the “LONE STAR BARBEQUE AND MERCANTILE
                              RESTAURANT” for a buffet dinner (included in the tour). Most of
                              the time there is live entertainment with a band. We have been here
                              before in the past, and no one wanted to leave.

Cancellations:  Deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made within 45 days before the tour date.  However, all out of
pocket expenses incurred by Holloway  including, without limitations, theatre or other tickets  purchased by Holloway
shall be non-refundable.  If cancellation is made less than 45 days before  the tour date, Holloway  deposit will be
refunded only if a substitute can be found.  If Holloway cancels the tour, all money will be refunded.   (Please note: a
$10.00 administrative fee will be retained per transaction.   ALL REFUNDS ARE PROCESSED AFTER THIS TOUR
